Holderness Gazette 23rd October CLUB NOTES Despite a disappointing current run of form, the Eastenders’ position in the Humber Premier League is far from depressing and it is this point that Manager Mack will look to get across when his side return to league action on Saturday. The locals entertain Cleethorpes Town (formerly LSS Lucarlys) hoping to arrest a run of five matches without a win. Needless to say the squad situation looks no better with Walmsley, Rutter and Holtby all out of action, while goalkeeper Kevin Appleyard is still a week or so away from a return. In the County League Premier Division, the Reserves travel to Reckitts Reserves, while the Casuals entertain Viking Raiders Reserves in Division 4. Thanks to everybody who attended Saturday’s “Eastenders’ Race Night” in The Granby Inn, which raised approximately £550 for Club funds.
