Holderness Gazette 16th October CLUB NOTES The Eastenders turn their attention to the Grays League Cup this Saturday with a visit to meet Hessle Rangers at the Blackburn Sports Ground in Brough. The game comes a fortnight after the two sides met at Low Farm in the league, sharing the spoils in a 3-3 draw. Manager Mack looks like seeing Danny Medforth and Stu Campbell join his lengthy absentee list. However, Kevin Milner and Anthony Barnett could both come back into contention. In the County League, the Reserves entertain VIP Communications at Low Farm, hoping to kick-start their season after three opening defeats. The Casuals are on a similar mission but face a daunting task as they visit Wawne Ferry Reserves; the hosts boast a one hundred per cent record from three league games. This Saturday night sees the latest “Race Night” taking place in The Granby Inn. Everybody is welcome for what is traditionally an excellent night’s entertainment. September’s 100 Club winners are: £25 – 138, Jamie Cousins; £15 – 35; Jean Mills, £10 – 128; Ann Bevan; £5 – 49, Laura Coupland & £5 – 124, Jimmy Neilson For up-to-date news check out our club web site at: www.easington-united.co.uk
