As agreed by members at the AGM, please note the new "Code of Conduct" applicable to players & management of Easington United AFC. Copies of this will be distributed among club members over the coming matches and placed on display in the changing rooms:
Punctuality
All players should endeavour to be at the appointed meeting place (i.e. match venue) by the time requested by their team manager. In most cases, this should be no later than 1.00pm for Saturday afternoon matches (kick-off 2.00pm) and at least 45 minutes to one hour prior to kick-off on evening matches (work and other commitments will be taken into account)
Dress Code
All players are encouraged and expected to attend matches wearing official Easington United AFC club uniform i.e. tracksuits and polo shirts. Other items of club wear (ABB-sponsored sweatshirts and Rain Jackets) are acceptable but should really be kept for training/pre-match warm-up.
Discipline
All players are expected to maintain high levels of discipline in accordance to the FA Code of Conduct for Players. They are expected to show respect to their team mates, opponents, management, match officials and spectators.
Finance
All players are expected to pay their match subscriptions promptly and before they leave the ground. They should not have to be “chased up” by management or any other Club official. They should also endeavour to pay any fines incurred by the ERCFA for offences committed on the field of play promptly on receipt of notification.
House-keeping
All players are expected to be responsible for their own areas on match days. This includes the changing rooms (and approaches to/from), dugouts and technical areas. They are also encouraged to check any areas outside their immediate responsibility – opposition technical areas, spectators areas etc. All cans, bottles, tape etc to be disposed of in the various waste bins around the ground; kit to be placed in the designated bags and boots not to be cleaned in the changing rooms.
In these and all other areas, the respective FA Code of Conduct should also be followed (copies available from the Club Committee).
