CLUB NOTES
Dave Walmsley takes sole charge of First Team affairs for the second week running and will have Neil Rutter available for selection again for Saturday’s visit of Hessle Rangers. This comes after the skipper’s recovery from a recent hamstring injury and Monday’s successful appeal against the suspension imposed following his recent controversial sending-off at Malet. In addition, Walmsley should also have Stuart Campbell and Chris Frost back after holiday. However, doubts persist over Luke Jeffery’s fitness while work commitments may yet hamper Kevin Milner’s availability.
Confusion currently surrounds this weekend’s Reserve team fixture in the County League Premier Division. They are down to play Goole Goods Offices (ex-AFC Charter) at home but cannot do so due to the HPL game on the main pitch at Low Farm. Players are advised to check the web site for updates. In Division 4 the Casuals go to South Cave United Reserves.
Thanks to official web site sponsors Technostics for their sponsorship of Saturday’s match and the Club would also like to wish Harvey Dettmar of Technostics best wishes on his continued recovery following his recent accident.
There is a Coffee Morning in aid of Club Funds this Saturday in the Community Hall (10am). All welcome.
Horses are still available for The Eastenders’ latest “Race Night”, being held in The Granby Inn on Saturday, 18th October. Meanwhile our thanks go to BMTec, BIS Salamis, JL Clarke, Pro-Truck (Hull) Ltd, Harrison-Solway Logistics and Red Hot Vending for their kind race sponsorship pledges.
