Forthcoming Fixtures / Team News:
The Eastenders should have found out who their semi-final opponents will be in this year’s South Holderness Cup last night when Withernsea were set to entertain Hedon Rangers Reserves. Supporters are advised to check the Club web site (www.easington-united.co.uk) and/or match posters for confirmation of semi-final details.
Both the Reserves and Casuals were set to conclude their league programme this week. The Reserves travel to meet their Sculcoates Amateurs counterparts at King George V, Kirk Ella on Saturday, while the Casuals were due to go to Skidby Millers Reserves last Tuesday night. Reports on both games in next week’s Gazette.

The winning Golden Goal time last Saturday was 44 minutes.

Regular attendees of Daniel Campbell’s “Fun Junior Football Coaching Sessions” should note that this week’s takes place at Easington School and not at Low Farm. The switch is to accommodate the School’s Fun Day and Fun Run, with the session kicking-off at 11.30am instead of 10 o’clock. Any boy or girl aged 12 and under is welcome to come along and join in – ring Dan on 07703 517525 for further details.
The Eastenders Annual Presentation Evening this year takes place on Saturday, 9 June in The Granby Inn and is being combined with a “Race Night”. Horse and Race Sponsorship are now available – ring 01964 650133 for details.
Finally, anybody requiring tickets for the Club’s Diamond Celebration Event at the Country Park Inn, Hessle on Saturday, 30 June at which Jack Charlton OBE is guest speaker, should ring Judy (01964 650301), Craig (01964 630933) or Neil (01964 626402).
