CLUB NOTES Forthcoming Fixtures / Team News: FOLLOWING the postponement of the “derby” at Withernsea last weekend, Easington United face a tough return to Humber Premier League action when they host current leaders Sculcoates Amateurs at Low Farm this Saturday (2.00pm). Manager Dave Mackay-Dundas hopes to have both Andy Graham and Neil Rutter available for selection again, after both were away last weekend, while Steve Harrod and Paul Wilkinson are also fit after recent injury. Having suffered two embarrassing defeats at the hands of Mark Petch’s team this season, manager Mack will be keen to get 2007 off to a flying start with a much-needed victory this time round. Elsewhere there’s a potential six-pointer in store for the Reserves. Manager John Clarke returns from his “Ashes Experience” Down Under to – hopefully – see his team return to winning ways at bottom club FC Ridings in the County Premier. Ricky Biglin (hamstring) is his major injury doubt. Casuals boss Doug Clubley will hope to have Dave Hurren, Darren Dawson, Mike Hooley, Chris Smith, Adam Swaby and Jodi Stow available for selection ahead of a similar “basement battle” at near neighbours Withernsea 3rds in Division 4. Other News All players please note: Any issues for discussion at the forthcoming Player Reps/Management meeting should be brought to the attention of your Player Reps this weekend.
