CLUB NOTES Forthcoming Fixtures / Team News: The Eastenders make the short trip to Withernsea this weekend with manager Mack confronted by no shortage of selection problems. He is without Andy Graham and Neil Rutter (both away) and injured assistant Dave Walmsley, as well as having doubts over Dan Potts, Mark Hazel, Steve Harrod and Paul Wilkinson. In addition, Jamie Heard seems certain to be left out. The potential shortage of defensive cover could mean a possible recall to first team duty for Stu Campbell and reserves asst-boss ‘Biff’ McNaught or even a possible call-up for youngsters Brett Fisk and/or Luke Jeffery. Thankfully, the Reserves are without a game this Saturday, which should alleviate the pressure slightly on Doug Clubley’s squad for the Casuals’ trip to Howden Town. Other News: The Club is delighted to announce the success of the “Bridge Too Far” sponsored walk (from Low Farm to the Humber Bridge) that took place on Boxing Day and raised approximately £1,200 towards the Diamond Celebrations. Congratulations to the walkers: Judith Sugden, Craig Foster, Neil Rutter, Daniel Campbell, Darren Dawson, Kevin Appleyard, Kevin Milner, Chris Rawlings, Andy Graham, Steve Ward and “Senior Advisor” (!) Mike Hare; also thanks to the “Support Party”: Carron Windas, Angie Rutter and Nicky Appleyard; and of course everybody else who supported the event in any way including sponsorship.
